Acqua di Parma launched Cedro Virtuoso in September 2026 as a new Eau de Parfum in Signatures of the Sun. It comes in 50 ml, 100 ml and 180 ml, and the idea also moves into the home through a scented candle and diffuser.

The opening combines Calabrian bergamot and musk with the fragrance's signature: a co-infusion of Virginia cedarwood and hazelnut developed exclusively for Acqua di Parma. Bergamot brings a clear citrus lift, while hazelnut should round the dry wood with a softer, buttery warmth.

Cedar is more than a supporting base note here. Virginia cedar sets the warm line, Atlas cedar adds spicy and balsamic facets, and Alaska cedar brings a more aromatic, lightly leathery edge. Together they make the wood the main character rather than an anonymous structure beneath sweeter materials.

Sandalwood, tonka bean and Ambrox build a smoother finish around that defined cedar frame. The result points toward a modern woody gourmand where hazelnut provides texture rather than a full dessert effect. Golden liquid and a warm campaign image, with the bottle framed by pale sculptural wood, reinforce the same balance between dry form and creamy warmth.
