Privacy Policy

Nōte de Parfum is a fragrance discovery app operated by Fonsica Group AB. This policy explains what data Nōte de Parfum may process and why.

What Nōte de Parfum Does

Nōte de Parfum lets you search fragrance profiles, read notes and accords, save scents, discover similar fragrances and open Shop Now links to external retailers.

Data We Process

Nōte de Parfum may process the following data:

  • Anonymous install identifier, stored in the iOS Keychain and used to manage weekly search allowance, cached results and Premium access. Nōte de Parfum does not create persistent quota subjects from IP address or user-agent fallback data.
  • Search and request data, including fragrance search terms and request metadata needed to return fragrance results securely.
  • Saved scents and recent searches, stored locally on the device unless future account sync is added.
  • StoreKit subscription status, used to unlock Premium features and restore purchases.
  • Shop Now clickout data, including fragrance id, name, brand and fallback URL, used to route users to external retailers.
  • Website and App Store click data. Public Journal pages are static and require no account, fragrance lookup or AI request. When a visitor follows an App Store link, Nōte de Parfum records a minimal event containing an allowlisted placement, an optional public article slug and the hosting request id. The event does not intentionally include an install id, search term, IP address or user-agent string.
  • Diagnostics and hosting logs, used to keep the service reliable and investigate errors if retained by Nōte de Parfum's hosting services. Nōte de Parfum is designed not to add custom logs containing install ids, search terms, StoreKit tokens, IP addresses or user-agent strings.

Advertising

Nōte de Parfum 1.0 shows no advertising on any plan.

The app contains no advertising SDKs. If advertising is ever introduced in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated first, with consent tooling where required.

Shop Now links may be affiliate links. If a user buys a physical fragrance after following a Shop Now link, Nōte de Parfum may earn a commission. This does not change the price shown by the retailer.

Affiliate reporting identifiers are intended to be fragrance/link scoped, not user or install scoped.

Purchases are completed with the external retailer and are subject to that retailer's terms, privacy policy, shipping and return rules.

Fragrance Data

Nōte de Parfum retrieves fragrance information through a secure service. The iOS app does not store service credentials, and caching is used to reduce duplicate requests.

Data Sharing

Nōte de Parfum may share limited data with:

  • Fragrance data services, to return fragrance data.
  • Hosting services, to keep Nōte de Parfum available.
  • Apple, for StoreKit purchase processing.
  • No advertising partners: Nōte de Parfum 1.0 contains no ads.
  • Affiliate networks or retailers, when a user opens Shop Now.

User Choices

  • Users can avoid Shop Now links if they do not want to leave the app.
  • Users can purchase Premium for a higher smart allowance when Premium is available.
  • Users can use iOS settings and Apple's purchase management tools for subscriptions.
  • Users can contact support to ask questions about privacy or deletion.

Children

Nōte de Parfum is not intended for the App Store Kids Category and should not be marketed as a children's app.
