Victoria Beckham Beauty launched Hotel Portofino Extrait de Parfum in September 2026 as the house's first extrait. Jérôme Epinette returns to Portofino, but instead of simply amplifying Portofino '97 he has built a new woody-spicy fragrance with a darker and warmer direction. It comes in 50 ml and keeps the story of a secret Mediterranean escape.

The opening gathers bergamot, basil and saffron. Bergamot provides a clear link to the earlier Portofino fragrance, while basil's green snap and saffron's dry warmth turn the brightness golden rather than sparkling. It sounds like a brief aromatic entrance before the composition moves toward its softer and more sensual center.

Wild fig, agarwood and a pinot noir accord shape the heart. Fig should bring full green fruit, while the wine accord adds dark berries and a lightly tannic edge. Agarwood keeps that richness in check and introduces polished wood. The combination feels unusual without becoming difficult, like sun-warmed fruit against dark timber and a glass of red wine.

Incense, papyrus and black amber meet in the base. Incense draws a soft line of smoke through the fragrance, papyrus adds dry texture and dark amber rounds the edges. The fluted gold bottle with its turquoise label makes the same transition visually: Portofino's clear coastal colors remain, but they have been dressed in metal and evening light.
