Amouage launched Decision 42 in September 2026 as the latest interpretation in its Exceptional Extraits collection. Quentin Bisch has returned to 2025's Decision and raised the concentration to 42 percent perfume oil. The Extrait de Parfum comes in 100 ml and is aged for six weeks before completion.
Bergamot, pink pepper, cardamom, neroli and cinnamon give the opening both light and heat. Cardamom should sharpen the electric impression without making the citrus feel thin, while cinnamon introduces a warmer current from the first spray.
Juniper, frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood and rectified pine tar make the heart darker and drier. Patchouli and cedar continue the woody line in the base, but vanilla and labdanum round its edges. The result sounds like a clearer journey from bright spice into smoky, resinous warmth.
The campaign image places the grey Decision 42 bottle above its amber-colored sister launch, Overture 41, which arrived at the same time. Stone, glossy resin and hard side light mirror the contrast between mineral clarity and dark warmth that Amouage builds into the fragrance.
