Symrise has signed a put option agreement to acquire all of Floral Concept, a natural fragrance ingredient house in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne near Grasse. Floral Concept works with emblematic flowers and plants from the region, placing the proposed transaction close to the raw materials that shape modern fine fragrance.
The group plans to combine Floral Concept with Maison Lautier 1795 in a dedicated naturals cluster inside its fragrance division. For perfume lovers, the interesting question is not simply scale, but whether closer links between growers, extraction specialists and perfumers can create more distinctive natural signatures in future launches.
The parties expect the transaction to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to employee information procedures and customary conditions. No consumer product has been announced as part of the agreement, so this remains a supply-side development rather than a new perfume release.
