Chanel is extending Coco Mademoiselle for the first time in six years with Crush Absolu, a new Eau de Parfum launching in August 2026. Olivier Polge builds on the line's familiar ambery and woody base, but gives the opening a more pronounced fruity pulse.
Grapefruit and lychee arrive first. Grapefruit should bring a dry, sparkling citrus line, while lychee pulls the opening toward something rosy and juicy. That makes the first impression brighter and more playful before rose and jasmine move in and reconnect the fragrance with the floral signature of Coco Mademoiselle.
Patchouli and vetiver sit beside vanilla and amber in the base. The vanilla adds roundness, but Polge has described wanting the finish to remain dry and woody rather than turn fully gourmand. The contrast between the fruitier top and darker base looks set to become the fragrance's clearest movement.
The bottle keeps the square Coco Mademoiselle shape, now with a deeper pink tone and dark label. Gracie Abrams fronts the campaign. Together, the scent and presentation position Crush Absolu as a more intense continuation of the collection without moving it into an entirely different fragrance family.
