Max Mara launches Le Parfum on August 24, 2026, the first fragrance from its new partnership with Shiseido. The Eau de Parfum was created by Marie Salamagne and Fabrice Pellegrin. Max Mara's UK store offers 50 ml and 100 ml refillable bottles, supported by a 150 ml refill.
The opening builds a double portrait of tuberose: a fresh flower from Grasse and a creamier absolute from Guatemala. The first should bring a clearer white floral light, while the absolute introduces more density and softness. Together they make the tuberose feel full without letting the entire composition turn heavy from the start.
Vanilla shapes the warm heart before cedar and Australian sandalwood give the base a drier structure. Musk and benzoin round the woods into a soft, almost cashmere-like texture. It is a direct translation of Max Mara's invisible coat idea: comforting and elegant, but with enough wood to preserve a defined silhouette.
The bottle makes the fashion connection literal. Faceted glass is wrapped in a camel-colored band with stitched edges and finished with a gold-toned detail that recalls a couture button. In the official product image, several bottles rest along broad textile bands, as if a fragrance wardrobe had been arranged on a cutting table.
