Aesop launches Unforeseen Aer in September 2026 as the new fragrance in its Fragrant Fables collection. Created by Céline Barel, the Eau de Parfum comes in 50 ml and 100 ml. It takes the classic fougère into a cooler, more mineral landscape, held together by an imagined Pure Air accord.

Lime heart and petitgrain open with clear citrus and green bitterness before nutmeg brings warmth and a lightly dry spice. Nutmeg keeps the fresh opening from feeling thin or clinical. Instead, it gives the brightness a textured edge, like warm stone under a suddenly cool wind.

Eucalyptus, geranium and lavandin build the aromatic heart, with rosemary joining the Pure Air accord. Patchouli heart, cypress and labdanum then pull the fragrance towards darker woods and resin. The movement should run from crisp herbs into earthy warmth without losing its airy line.

The press image places the amber bottle against a softly projected pattern of green leaves. Its new taller form has a domed base, Aesop embossed into the glass and a dark cap inspired by Melbourne basalt. The picture makes the meeting of mineral, forest and warm amber as clear as the fragrance structure itself.
